Help tethering? help!

Please tell me how tethering is possible on this phone! Im going nuts trying and failing

I downloaded PdaNet from the web, installed it on my phone and PC. Plugged the PC into the phone using the cord that comes with the phone. Launched the PC and Phone versions and I was on the net with no problems. Try it. I've been very happy with this app.

To allow wireless tethering, you have to root the phone and then get the Breakneckmod ROM. Once you have that ROM installed, you can get the Wireless Tether app that allows your droid to act as a WiFi hotspot without having to tether to a PC. It helped me out big time when I was at my mother's house this past week. She's out in the country, has no internet connection, so using this allowed me to connect my laptop via WiFi to the Droid to get internet access.
