Help tethering password questions

Newbie
I have been using Mobile AP to tether it is ok but as we all know things hard wired are faster then wireless. I select usb tether and on my mac it pops up account name password etc. What do I put there?
 
You mean to ask what is your phone's password for tethering?

Settings, wireless/network, mobile AP, and there you go.
