Help tethering tablets

I have done some searching on this but can't find an answer. Is there a way to use wired tether from a WIFI only Samsung tablet to the Bolt using a program like easy tether? I assume wireless tehering would work either rooted or through Verizon.

Any help?

As far as I know, this is not possible. The tablet would have no way of looking at the usb port for a network connection.

yeah im trying to find the same method i want to use my t-bolt as a wi fi hot spot for my xoom is there a app for that and without being rooted

Without root, you cannot use the tbolt as a free wifi hotspot. You have to call verizon and get their hotspot plan to do that.



rliss54--- Also tablets do not look at the usb ports for tethering, they only work on wifi..

Have you tried tethering via bluetooth? LEGAL-site-approved-mod-friendly-no-liability-from-the-site bluetooth tethering?
