Tethering the HTC DINC2 by Bluetooth-can it be done?

Has anyone been able to tether their nonrooted HTC DINC2 to another device by bluetooth? I read the Foxfi is not compatible with HTC phones. I am able to tether (make my INC2 a hotspot) by wifi, but that seems to drain the battery. Thanks

I've read on another DInc2 forum that people have tried FoxFi their DInc2 and it wokrs via Bluetooth, not wifi. Try it - it's free, isn't it?

I installed FoxFi (and pdanet on my tablet) and find it only provides limited tethering. I can access internet through a browser. But, apps that need the internet such as email do not update, and give a message like "no connection found".

Ok here is the thing i have an incredible 2 too (lol) with foxfi installed on it and i was able to connect my computer to it but i have not been able to connect to the internet through it. Im not sure why. I can usb tether it but my connection port on my phone is taking some damage and i dont want to break it so i would prefer to use a bluetooth method. if there is a better method than this please let me know. or if you know how to fix this method let me know that tool thank you for any future help.
