Tethering with Wifi garden?

Hi guys i wanted to know your experience with tethering on the esteem. I know the risks involved, but iam not going to be downloading or anything major on it.

I currently have been using a Rooted indulge, ive been using wifi garden on it for months. I have had 0 problems, but again i dont download 5 gb torrent files either. The most i do is browse the web and play starcraft 2 on it. starcraft 2 uses around 10-15kb/s at most.


Also have you been able to successfully remove the spyware off the phone?


The answers i get will help me decide whether or not to buy the phone on friday

Hey bud theres a tutorial on how to use the Esteem as a hotspot. Im not sure anybody in here has used it since most are getting a bit antsy about Metros new policies when it comes to this. heres the video anyways

Iam not too worried about metro pcs.

There is no way they would ban people off the bat for tethering.

Thats just not smart for business, on the other hand if your using it for full blown internet and downloading etc... of coarse they are going to ban you.

Same thing i said final. Why would Metro band folks for using tethering but some of the guys that do work for metro in here say they plan go the big telcos way. 60 flat plus maybe another 30 for unlimited tethering. which i said thats too much. maybe 10 bucks more then ok

Thank you for the video link for WiFi Tether, I had installed it previously when I rooted my phone but was not successful after I ran it. But payed attention to the video and didn't know the Device profile had to be set LG Optimus S. I changed that and it has been working flawlessly as long as the 4G signal is strong then the speed is fair.

your not gonna get banned for tethering your too valuable to metro and thats al i do on my esteem, tether that is.
