I've noticed that a few people are talking about some stuff you need to change so you can get full internet when you tether without metros blocks stopping you from going to certain sites, i was wondering what exactly do you have to do?

you can always just change your user agent in firefox. if you play around with the different ones you can find one that works and also lets you get desktop version of websites. i think chrome has a user agent changing addon as well. metro blocks a pc's web browser so you just fool it.

Just change your user agent to Googlebot. You will be able to browse at full speeds and be able to view all websites in desktop mode.

If u are rooted, just use wifi-tether apk.. From playstore,
On setting of app go to device profile n change to generic ics w/lan 0
