Help Text alerts and front camera

Hi - sorry if this has been covered before. I have just got a HTC desire S and would like to know two things for now.

1 - if I use yahoo messenger and want to make video calls in that program the only camera that works is the rear camera not the front camera and there is no method i can see of using the front camera. Does anyone know how this can be changed - also if there is an app or download that will allow video calls via wifi etc not as an actual phone call to a phone if yahoo is not possible.

2 - i know it must be simple but how can i set an mp3 file as a text alert - again do i need to download an app or is there a method on the phone.

Hi sorry i dont know about the camera but i can help with the SMS mp3.





Connect your device to your PC via the Data Cable.
On your device, drag down the Notification bar to open it and then touch the USB Icon: Select to change USB connection type.
Select Disk Drive and touch done.
On your pc Open the folder to view files. In there Create a folder and call it media then Create a folder within that and call it audio. In audio create 3 folders: Call them
-notifications
-ringtones
-alarms
Put any MP3 files you wish to use for your text messages into notifications
Remove phone from computer. And you must restart your phone.
Go to menu on your phone. Go to settings. Go to select sound.
Go to Notification Sound.
Select the song you want from there.

Yahoo only supports the front camera on the myTouch 4G and EVO phones. You won't be able to use the Desire S in this way until, or if, Yahoo gets round to it.

The most widely used Android app that enables you to make video calls via wifi (as well as 3G & 4G) is Tango. You'll be able to make video calls with the front camera. The phone you're calling will need to have Tango installed, too.

You can find alternatives for 'video calls' on Android Market, but Tango is the most popular.
