While my HTC Desire is upright, I prefer to use the phone keypad setup using predictive text. While there are not many things I can complain about this phone, there is one thing. When using T9 I may want to type, for example, "home". If not careful I will come out with "good". Is there a way of changing the word I typed without retyping the word?

In my experience, if I notice that my typing was misinterpreted just after it happened, I can press Back key and the software switches to the moment of choice when both good and home and maybe something else were displayed. I hit `home' and move on. This is true for the keyboard native to my HTC Desire. Once I installed Russian Keyboard to be able to type both Cyrillic and Latin alphabets, I lost predictivity but the problem disappeared. With another keyboard the remedy may be different
