text delivery notification?

Hi everyone!
I'm looking to get a vibrant soon but I was wondering if the phone tells you if your text didn't send or not.
If any of you came from a BB9700, the text message would have a "D" next to it if it was delivered or a red X if it wasn't delivered.
Does the vibrant do anything similar?

The Vibrant shows on the message either date and time sent or "failed". It is very easy to determine if it sent or not.

When a message fails to send, it vibrates and gives you a orange envelope icon in the top left of the notification bar with a exclamation mark on it.

When you go in the message "tree", the failed message will be grey instead of blue or green.

i was wondering about the 'tree' thingy...

so its per person you get a tree?

is it possible to get messages, and still have them like default phones do...

- inbox
- sent items
- drafts...

or is this an android thing.

its a great improvement, but im still learning so much about it.

On the Vibrant messaging app (which is different from the stock android one), you can have "thread" view which is basically like a chat window for each person, and "folder" view which is inbox, sent, drafts, etc.
