Help Text input issues on the EVO

That thing..... you know.... where it "guesses" which word you want to type?

How do I turn it off? I hate it.

Yesterday, instead of asking someone to email me.... I asked them to enslave me.

I don't care about the occasional typo.... I want to completely eliminate that feature... but I can't find it in the settings.
