Text issue

I recently had to have a replacement EVO sent to me since the touchscreen on mine was dead. I rooted and got Harmonia on it right away just like I had on my old one. The issue I am having is that when I get a text on the new phone the screen turns on for a few seconds. I really hate that and it wasnt happening on my old one. I can not seem to find the seeting to turn this off. Even looking online has not helped. Anyone know how to make this stop.

Hi salemblack. Not knowing.. but, you might try changing the notification you are using for texts and see if that makes any difference. Would be sweet if it was that simple..
