Text Issues

I am not sure if this is the app I am using(GO Sms) or if this is the phone network.

When i text people, they got a text full of a bunch of symbols and it had no words.

Is there a fix for this? Could it be the app?
i've used Go Sms on 4 different phones(Sprint, Virgin and Tmobile)
and never had people saying this.

My friend also has the same phone and she said the same thing is happening to her.

It's not Go Sms. I tried Handcent and a few other apps and apparently whenever i try to send a text with 160+ characters it will mess up.

anything under 160 chaacters will send though.

I believe the text limit on Nexus phones is 160

Make sure you have it set to simple split for messages over 160 characters.

I have set up handcent to split the messages at 160, but it will also number them too to aid in whoever gets the message. I have split by word and add counter.
