Help Text Macros

Munky78

Newbie
Hello, I'm new to Android and was wanting to know if there is a tweak available that will let me create a list of text macros and easily access them with one or two taps when tapping on a text field.

There was a tweak for iOS I ran across while searching called Action Menu that does exactly what I want. Does this exist?

I'm currently using Clipper+.
I use it to create text, email addresses, mailing addresses, etc. that I can copy to my clipboard and paste when needed.
Prior to that I used Smart Keyboard Pro. It has an AutoText feature, that will allow you to transform a series of letters you create into whatever you want.
Here are some examples I created ..
u = you
ty = thank you
mma = "my mailing addresses"
mpn = "my cell phone number"

You can create as many as you want.

Thanks for the suggestions...tried thumb keyboard and the text substitutions isnt quite what I'm looking for.

Locking text selections to the clipboard is pretty close, but I'd like the list to be smaller and it doesnt work everywhere. I used the feature on iOS mostly to enter my email, usernames, and passwords and such.

That's a pretty cool tweak for iOS. Haven't seen anything like that for Android. Clipper + is the closest in what you may be looking for. You can access the app from your notification area, and you can create Snippets and access them from any app. I use it all the time when I need to enter my email address, etc.
