text mesg contacts not appearing

[aprilg]

There are several contacts that do not appear when I try and send them a text I have to go to contacts and do it that way, but that won't work when I want to send to multiple people. Any suggestions?

I'm getting the same thing. Fairly irritating.

I believe that's because you don't have their numbers listed as 'mobile'

Wow! I actually posted a thread about this in trouble shooting and my answer was sitting right here. Thanks Fabolous.

I had the same problem, then I got Handcent SMS and it resolved that issue!

I really didn't want to go through and fix everybody's number D:
