Help Text message attachments

When i recive texts with and attachment like a picture. when i open it , it only stays open for like 15 seconds maybe then goes right back to the text message. this is very annoying. is there any way to change this to where it stays open till you go back to the text. If i receive a video it dows the same thing, just opens for a few seconds then goes right back to the message screen? Anyone have any info?

I haven't used the stock messenger for a long time. I don't have any problems with go messenger. Handscent(sp?) I probably handles mms better too.

Yeah I haven't used the stock text app I use handcent and don't hav problems with mms.

When you click on the attachment, touch the screen and you should see a "Pause" button at the bottom of the picture. Press that and it'll stay up until you press "Play" again.

Done and Done.
