Help Text message Failed, how to find out when they tried to send

My wife said she tried to text me from her Galaxy S, but the messages failed to send. She sent me a screenshot showing the texts with the red exclamation mark. Is there a way to find out when she originally attempted to send these? Screenshot doesn't show any timestamp, it just says "Failed"

Her messages are working now but I wasn't sure if she was being honest with me. She claimed to have sent these messages earlier in the evening, then (I guess to provide evidence that she'd tried to text me) she sent me a screenshot with her failed attempts showing up beneath a later message I sent her. So they seem kind of fabricated. I'm not sure how messaging on her phone works -- I have an iphone.

In the screenshot below, it seems to me that the 3 error message'd texts were sent after the messages with yellow backgrounds above. Is this true? Or not necessarily. That's what I'm trying to figure out

Yes they were sent after! If they were sent during that time they would be mixed in with your messages!
