Help Text Message Screen Capture on Fascinate

I have a Samsung Fascinate running 2.3. I can do a screen capture for anything except text messages. To do a screen capture, you hold the back key and the power button and voila, there's your pic. However, when I try to do this in text message mode, when I press the back button, it immediately goes back to the text message list page. So, it seems this is the only mode I can't seem to capture sceen shots.

anyone have an idea how to get screen shots of text messages?

I can do it in the stock SMS app of my Galaxy SL, but not on GO SMS. Screenshot apps usually need root access, there are several in the market.

thank you for the feedback. not sure why I cant do it in my stock sms. btw, what is GO SMS?
