text message text problems

ok so here is my problem.

say I recieve a text message from a friend that has their address in it, and I want to add this address to their contact. How do i go about doing this. I have tried to figure out how to select(highlight/copy) text in a SMS but have not found a way.

any suggestions.

OK...first, it has to be editable, so in this case I'd long-press the message and "forward" it to get it into the edit box. Then I get the cursor where I want it (trackball, touch, whatever), long-press and choose "select text". Finally I move the cursor to the end (trackball, w/e), long-press and choose "copy" ... and you're good to go.
