Help text message vibrate

Just got Fascinate.

Phone set to ring.
Messages not set to vibrate.

Get text...no problem (ringtone selected plays)

Switch volume down to "vibrate"
Get text...no vibrate

I assume it's because Messages are not set to vibrate, but if I turn vibrate on (while in vibrate mode), it is still active when back to ring mode and I get ringtone and vibrate.

Any way to get around?
Any way to make vibrate more than 2 quick buzzes?

Quick way to change from Ring to Vibrate other than ringer volume all the way down to vibrate?

Thanks

Awesome.

Haven't sent any test txts, but I assume i want to turn on "Auto Enable Vibrate & Reminder"?

I see I can change length of vibrate, but I think that's only if you turn on vibrate function of app for always on?

Does this also work for google chat messages?

Maybe I read your post wrong but are you stating that it does vibrate but not long enough or that it doesn't vibrate??

No vibrate at all when volume is down to vibrate (unless I check vibrate in messages settings which then vibrates even when phone is on regular volume)

I have installed MineVibrate and it fixed the issue for text messages, but I still don't get vibrate when I receive google talks.
