I like handcent but when i go to multiple foward its hard to check mark epople in my contacts. Sometimes it does not want to check mark I have to keep tapping
 
On the Moment, I thought Chomp was a bit less laggy than handcent. Since Chomp and handcent are both free, try them all and decide for yourself.
 
Agreed. Just be aware that MMS texts are issues when receiving handcent to handcent users. It sends fine from your phone but not received correctly by another handcent user always.

Chomp also has issues along these lines. Just try them though and see which you prefer.
