Help Text Messages Not Sent

I keep getting the triangle with exclamation point saying my text messages have not been sent. I try to resend and they still won't. Is it me or a setting or what?

I've had this happen intermittently.

At least once the problem was data lockup. Make sure you have a data connection. If you don't, you probably have to reboot the phone.

Even if you have a data connection, rebooting the phone has a fairly good chance of fixing the problem.

This happens to me quite regularly. Very frustrating. I can be in my living room and not be able to send the simplest text.

Does yours come up with an error, Code 7: Network Failure or just not send? I have both issues.

I communicate more via text than calls, so this is a huge setback for me and I am in the process of deciding what I want to do.
