1) Does anyone know how to remove Text Messages from the Recent folder in the New Message (Compose New Message area.. I have perfomed a deletion in the phone logs and history and deleted the text. For some reason it will not delte from the Recent area.

2) When I delete a text it asks if ou want to delete locked messages, for some reason it will not alow me to check the box.

Hope someone can help.

Try going to settings/applications/manage applications/all/scroll to messages, then hit clear cache and clear data. That would clear everything though, I think.

I did do that and nothing. It is showing nothing in the Cache. Do you know anything about that check box to remove locked messages.

When you're viewing all your messages just find the user that contacted you and instead of touching it quickly to read it hold your finder down on the sender then it will give you the option to delete the thread. That works for me
