Help Text messaging notification ringtone after 2.2

Just found a problem with 2.2 that some may not care about, but is quite important to me and may be to others, so if you have an answer/fix, it would be greatly appreciated.

Anyway...before updating to 2.2 I had a different notification ringtone set to text messages under the text messaging settings than I did other notifications through the main settings, such as e-mail. Now, after updating to 2.2, even though I still have both set to different notification ringtones, the text messages alert with the main notification ringtone. ????

Hope I explained that correctly and clearly. Also, I must note: I JUST DID FACTORY RESET and no change.
 
Just to add...overall, I am very pleased with the update except for this issue and the problem with connecting to my home WiFi but no others (I discussed this in the appropriate forum, just wanted to comment in case anyone asked if I had any other issues).
 
Same problem here and all over...if you set the default(main) notification to a factory ringtone instead of one you put in your sd card, the others work normally.

I'll add that I had similar problems BEFORE the update. If I had any ringtones other than factory ones set as notifications (ringer, text, etc) it would screw with all of the ringtones. Very disappointing.
 
I'm very disappointed that I have to set Setting Notifications to a default tone JUST so I can have a custom Text Tone (which I'm using GoSMS).

I shouldn't have to do this.
