Text messaging problems

Has anyone experience any problems with their text messaging system where your text message that you send and or receive goes to another phone that should not be receiving it??????? If anyone has any suggestions or answers for my problem please tell.

Let's say this actually WAS an accident...

When you're doing a new message, if you hit the plus key on the top where it says To: and you are scrolling through sometimes it will check one of the boxes and you don't realize it's sending to more than one person.

I wonder if you sent the wrong message to a girl/boy friend or a parent...? Would you mind letting us know what the message said and who you sent it to? Just for kicks?
 
LOL....and no Im not that stupid to send it to the wrong person. But mainly when I recieve an message it comes to me and a very close friend of mines which yes as JB up top said, is a very bad thing.
 
No, some of us are that stupid. :o There was a thread quite a while ago about this. I texted my best friend instead of my wife a couple of times. Just not paying attention I guess. Once was pretty darned embarassing. He still gives me crap about it.
 
So wait, someone sends YOU a text and you and your friend both get it? Is there an option for text forwarding on the phone? I've never seen it before but then again i never looked...
 
There's an app for automatic text forwarding, but no built-in option. Maybe you should check your phone for such software, in case somebody played a trick on you...?
 
some people have had problems with text threading which would screw up who was receiving texts and who it showed a text as from. that problem was caused by text alerts from bank of america
 
Speaking of text alerts, Wal Mart Pharmacy now sends you texts when your perscriptions are ready. I thought that was pretty cool when I got mine yesterday.
