Help Text Messaging

hi guys i got a new samsung galaxy europa on vodafone
prob is i get multiple of the same txt message from some of my contacts

i have contacted vodafonewho told me to do a few things n these have not worked can sum1 please help

i cant help as im having the same problem, my sister, sister in law and also my mum have this phone and also have the same problem. i have heard about an upgrade from 2.1 to a 2.2 i dont know if that will help or how to do it, but its something i am looking into!

There is another thread regarding multiple txt problem, up to now only UK O2 users have reported the problem I think, you seem to be the first vodafone cudtomer with the same problem. I will be picking up a new replacement phone tomorrow I will report if the problem has disappeared or not.

I spoke to Samsung this afternoon and it is a well known problem which they are supposed to be working on! Most of those on the above thread are on O2
