Text / MMS Messages not downloading/ showing up.

I just played Minecraft Story Mode for about 20 minutes. saw it flicker every couple of minutes. I played Lumines, and Mobile Legends, and didn't see it in either one of those games at all.

It was just on the left edge of the screen, and it only seemed to happen during cutscenes. It's different than what my old phone was doing too. The other phone did it when I would touch the screen. Are there other games is does it in? I'd never seen it do that, and it was really pretty minor.

Went 2 metro after work and swapped phone out again. So far so good but too early to tell. This phone was manufactured in July.
I'm curious.... Anyone out there having data and screen glitch probs.... What hardware version r u running? I didn't think to check on my last 2 phones

The ones I swapped out were both made on 7/7/16 according to the boxes.

They were both garbage.

The new ones both say 9/16 on the sticker. They didn't give me the boxes. Hardware, and software are the same.

That's the versions I'm running now. No data loss as if yet... And I fired up Pokemon go for a little and didn't notice any screen glitch.
Hope this new one isn't a turd.
Still waiting on software update regardless. Hope it's gonna be nougat

I'd be happy with any update that improves the phone. Nougat would be icing on the cake. These things really should perform better than they do.

I think most of the issues are probably due to quality control. It seems like they are either ok, or terrible. Most of the comments I've read on the ZTE forums seem to agree.

Ok Good to know we have exact same glitch/no glitch situation on games. I can't play Lumines, it's not free but Mobile Legends gives me no screen problem either.

Mine was 8/2016. Same h/w, s/w.

Same HW and SW version here. Not sure what the mfg date is, have to check when I get home. I get occasional data timeouts and very infrequent screen glitches.

Update. Have not lost my data/sms in over 24 hrs since phone swap. Screen glitch when gaming remains.... But doesn't bother me.

Text messages don't appear until a reboot.
MetroPCS ZTE ZMax-Pro
1. Problem started appearing about a month to two ago. Thought is was a coincidence a new text arrived after a reboot.
2. Confirmed last week it was a phone problem. MetroPCS defaulted phone, but didn't fix problem. Usually messages appear on time for about an hour after phone has been rebooted. Ordered replacement phone.
3. Same problems with replacement phone, but now they only appear after an immediate reboot.

Have tested using the stock Android app Version 20161020_01

I am having the same problem. Going to try using a different messaging app. Google messenger to start...
