Help Text not sent error message won't clear

About a week ago an error message showed up on the pull down screen saying that a text message did not send and to tap to see the message. When I did that it said there was no text message to view.

Now I get the same error message almost every time I unlock the phone.

How do you get rid of this error message when there isn't one to clear?

- Did you check your draft messages to see if it was still there?
- Are you Rooted or Unrooted/stock or custom ROM?
- Using a messenger app or using stock messenger?

do you have alot of messages in your messaging app? some that you want to save?

an easy way to fix it, you can go to applications, manage applications, and wipe data/cache in the messages app.

There are no draft messages.

I guess I'm just stock or unrooted. I'm not real familiar with the technical terms. I don't know what a custom ROM is.

Just using the stock messenger.

hrmmmm, that seems like a troubling situation
try just clearing cache and see if that will help out
