Help Text notification go directly to unread message

Is it possible to have the default messaging app go directly to the unread message? That is really the only thing I am missing from Handcent. I want to be able to pull down the notification bar, select the message and go to it instead of to a list of threads.

Is it possible to have the default messaging app go directly to the unread message? That is really the only thing I am missing from Handcent. I want to be able to pull down the notification bar, select the message and go to it instead of to a list of threads.

Maybe this isn't possible as I have tried everything. I did a pretty exhaustive search as well and even found a couple answered threads asking the same thing. Oh well....
