Help Text Notification repeats itself partially?

Ok, so I downloaded a ringtone app and noticed that my notification ringer for texts now will play part of the song then start over and play it all the way through. This does this whether it's a pre-installed ringer or one of mine....kind of an annoying thing. Anyone have any idea how to fix it?

Are you using ringo to set the ringtones on your phone? If you are, it will play the notification twice. You will have to set your notifications to silent in the settings menu.

I'm using the ringtone app to set them since most are mp3's....didn't realize I had to set the other to silent. Hmmm....

Ok, another question....I found out how to edit my notifications and send them to the sd card so they show up in the "sounds and display" section to set them for notifications, etc. I'm using the stock selection to select the notifications but they still partially repeat. Anyone else? It's kind of annoying

Anyone? I get a lot of text messages and this is starting to bug me lol
