Since the ICS update...Ive experienced this problem on a daily basis.
What's happening is
Things Ive done in attempt to fix
Now Samsung is actually sending me a new phone right now (because my GPS is out of whack (Showing me in Las Vegas, NV...im in TN). Hopefully with the new phone this will all be fixed, but is anyone else experiencing the problem? One thing I do know...if the new phone ships on Gingerbread....its staying on Gingerbread! ICS has been nothing but problems since installing it (and yes I did it through Kies Air)
What's happening is
- Text popup notifications are coming through hours late (or not all)
- Text notifications are only showing on the status bar about 50% of the time
- and Texts are not causing the phone to alert me (vibrate)
Things Ive done in attempt to fix
- Tried using the stock messaging app and Handcent..both have the same problem
- Tried uninstalling and reinstalling Handcent..problem persists
- Have tried multiple battery pulls..problem persists
- Even tried a factory data reset..problem persists
