Help Text or message alert

I am a new droid owner. How do i set the text message alert to notify me constantly until i view either a text or email or voice mail. I was looking for a reminder every minute or so. Thanks in advance.

Apps in Market address the issue of ongoing alerts/notifications for incoming texts/emails/calls.

To my knowledge you have to be rooted or use a third party App for this. The Droid1 uses flashing LEDS to notify you of a missed call, text message, email. The top right hand corner of your device next to the speaker has an LED light that will flash until you open the notification. Not as good as a beep or an audible notification but its all it came with as far as I know. Hope this helps and welcome to the forums!

I've just started using an app called missed message flasher, I think that should fit the bill for you. It's available in the market (free and paid versions).
