Hey guys, On my Desire i have chompsms and the stock message app installed. When i receive a text it notifies me 2 times and opens up the message in the both apps. Is there anyway to uninstall the stock messaging app that comes with the desire?

No but you can disable the standard notification.

Go to the standard messaging app press menu, settings, then untick notifications for received messages.
