Help text stuck in chinese

i didnt change any settings, just picked up my phone, and any text i input, is in chinese, japanese, some sort of indecipheralbe symbol. i checked language and keyboard and its still set in english for both settings. and i still cant get online or use navigation. im in tampa

Tampa, China? lol.

That's a tough one. I would try to do a factory reset if you can.
If you happen to know someone with the same phone, have them walk you through the steps, since obvioulsly you wont know what your clicking.

Other than that I would take it in to be checked out.

i fixed it. i had to put the whole phone in spanish, (language, keyboard, ect.) sent a text, then went and put everything back in english and voula (spelling?) fixed. very strange and was curious if anyone came across this problem.
