Help Text too small

I have just purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (Wi-Fi) and previously owned the Samsung Galaxy Tab SCH-I800 (Verizon) which would only update to Firmware Version 2.3.5

What I have noticed is that on the Tab 2, the homepage will position 6 shortcut icons across the tablet where the old Tablet will only position 5. No problem there but when I go to browse websites and go to Facebook, the text is so much smaller than on the old tablet. I've gone to 'display' and 'text size' on the tab 2 and changed the text size to 'huge' but it doesn't really seem to make too much difference.

Is there any other setting that I could be missing. I love the text size on the old tablet compared to the Tab 2....I certainly didn't need to have the text any smaller than it was!!!

After doing more research, a friend has this exact same tablet and their Facebook is tiny text also. Pinching or double-tapping does nothing. The text on internet web pages are really tiny but the pinching does enlarge the text. So, we came to the conclusion that there is nothing to help with the tiny text in Facebook as there is no setting for text size. It does help a little in Facebook when I set the text size to "huge" in the settings/display. I just don't know what changed from the old tablet to the tab 2 to make this much difference in text size in Facebook. Text in Facebook Messenger is very small too. Guess I'll just have to put up with it. It's a problem with the Facebook app on this tablet. I love this tab!!!

(if you're using the facebook app , or mobile version of facebook in the browser) The facebook app/mobile version may work on the tablet, but isn't "specially made for tablets", i had a similar problem with the instagram app. so my point is, the app is mostly for smartphones with smaller screens (4.3" screens or whatever), but yours is a 7", so text looks smaller. maybe try using the desktop version of facebook online? hope this kind of helped. i own the samsung galaxytab 2 7.0
