Help Texting a Picture

My phone doesn't like to send a picture when I text. Maybe it is because I am on the extended Verizon network and not in a home area. Also, it might be related to picture size. Is there any way to reduce the size of a picture before you send it? When I take a picture with the phone and then try to send it, it reduces the size, but when I attach one from the gallery, it doesn't say anything about that. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

It reduce the size automatically when you attach. You can Download APP for editing pictures or adjust picture size on camera.
