Root Texting on Kingdom Stock GingerSense 3.0

I just flashed this ROM and it looks awesome. The only problem I've been able to detect is that my SMS stream (text history) isn't in the right order. All my text are listed at the top and my friend's texts are at the bottom. This friend in particular is in EDT and I am in CDT. So when I text at 1930 and he replies a minute later his time is 2031 and that's the time that shows up on my end. If I then reply at 1932, my text goes above the text I just received from my friend, cuz its time stamp is 2031...

Is there a way for me to fix this. Is there a time and date setting I'm not getting right?

Turns out all my text messages, regardless of the location of the user sending them, arrive in EDT, even though my phone is in CDT. How do I stop this from happening?

Are you using the stock messaging app?

And assuming you didn't have this problem before you flashed this rom?

Try downloading an app called SMS Time Fix from the market. It lets you change the timestamps + or - until you can get them in the right order. It worked for me.
