Help Texting problem

I'm enjoying this phone a lot I adapted to it well. But one thing bugs me, The texting order i.e

Me:
Friend:
Me:
Friend:

(above is how I want it to be)

Instead it's like this

Friend Oldest Message)
Friend:
Friend:
Friend:
Friend:
Friend: (newest message)
Me: (Oldest)
Me:
Me: (Newest)
Etc.


I want it to be in this order:

Me:
Friend:
Me:
Friend:

Any help?

As far as I know the messages go in the order of who sent first... Just like any conversation would be.

Not really, there are some known issues with texts being listed out of order, I think there was an announcement here last week sometime stating that the Google developers were working on texting issues, and this was one of them.

I don't get how this affects some people but not others. Unless everyone who's not experiencing it is just using Google Voice for free texting (like I am).

Is this a function of your underlying text system or the client? Does it change with a 3rd party one, say Handcent or something?
