I downloaded a Verizon update to my incrediable and let's just say nothing worked after that I had to factory reset and lost all my pics and contacts .....now that i am at factory reset I now cant receive any texts from anyone i can send them out but cant receive them ....Verizon tells me i need a new phone .Dont think so everything else works just fine

Hello, welcome onboard. Sorry to hear that. However, if doing a factory reset didn't fixed the problem - then I'm wondering what else could. If a Verizon rep told you that you might need a replacement, why not replace it. (I assume you have insurance on the phone.)
