Help Texting to multiple people

Hi, i used to have a ericsson 810i, in which when trying to text multiple people the same message it was a case of just checking the recipients in your phone book and sending the message. with the x8 you have to make the message, then press add recipient, for each and every person it is going to!! am i missing how to do something which should be easy or is this a massive flaw in the usually brilliant sony ericsson phones???

Saw your post had gone unanswered so thought I would just chip in and suggest Handcent SMS app free from the Android Market. It gives your the tick box next to your contacts for multiple texting, so much easier than the stock application.

you can press also left button after adding one person, and you will have some more options (discovered that by mistake, after 6 months of use )
