Help Texting word correct lag over?

Hey all, have you guys ever encountered the problem where when you text and press send, the last word you typed is still in the "recommended words" list and stays there until you hit space or something?

Any fixes?

Actually I get in trouble a lot coz of this feature. It is not a problem so much as this is how auto correct works. The suggestion box is so that if you misspell the word have the opportunity to fix it - this is not like microsoft word where some words are automatically fixed for you. The way the corrected word gets deposited instead of the misspelled word you wrote is 1 of 2 ways- 1. by pressing the word that appears on top of the keyboard (the suggested word) or by pressing the space bar which put the word in for you (this is a specific option in the settings menu under languages and input).

On numerous occasions when texting someone important and I have the last word misspelled and I like to fix it but instead of pressing the space bar or pressing on the word I think pressing send will automatically put the word in for me and I press send. Well needless to say is that I need to send another 3 texts after that to explain what the hell that word means!

I personally don't think that there is any fix for this instead it is just the way the application and word correct works!
