Help Texting

I have attempted everything I can think of in the message settings, but when I write a long text, it breaks my text into multiple texts instead of changing into a SMS message.
Please help me if possible, it's very annoying to everyone involved. THANKS ahead of time!!!!!

The SMS protocol (which is actually the old pocket pager protocol) allows for 140 octets or, in the alphabet we're using, 160 characters (people using unicode alphabets only get 80 characters). If your message is longer than that, your phone has two choices (and most texting apps allow you to choose in settings) - breaking it into multiple 160 character long text messages or sending it as a single MMS text file.

So there's no way you can send a single SMS that's longer than 160 characters, and it has nothing to do with your phone, Android or anything you have control over. (Unless you have a time machine and can convince the people who designed the protocol decades go to make it longer, because cellphones were going to be invented in the future.)

Is there anyway possible you can tell me how to make my messages into an MMS message? Sometimes I feel lost in the technology.

You can change your SMS to an MMS by adding a subject, even if it is short. You can do that by clicking your menu button thing on the bottom right and "Add subject." You do have to put at least one character in there, but it'll convert it to an MMS.
