Help Texts appear then dissappear

I get texts that pop up notifications using gosms but when i click to go into gms and read the text at a later date it doesnt show up in there.

i have txted myself to test and the notification shows up but doesnt save the message under messages anymore

why!! ive tried deleting older txts but still does not work
