Help Texts not coming through until reboot

This has happened to me twice. Stock, not rooted. I am able to send texts, but after not getting respnses for a few hours, I rebooted and then all the texts come through. People on the other end recieve my texts, but I don't get theirs until I reboot. Its only happened twice but it is very annoying. Anyone else seen this? It has happened once before the recent update and once after so I don't think it is related.

I'm not entirely sure, but it may be that your phone runs out of memory and therefore stops checking for messages??? If that is the problem, using an app to lock your messaging app into memory could possibly fix it. This would prevent the system from killing your messaging and kill a less necessary app instead. Again...i'm not entirely certain...
