I just recently flashed CWM Recovery on my tablet and was trying to obtain root using the root-signed.zip method. I went into CWM and wiped cache and dalvik cache and clicked "install .zip from sdcard" (I do have an SD card in the tablet, with the .zip file on it). However, the file didn't show up. It only seemed to show the internal storage. So I used adb and pushed the file to /sdcard/ but now when I click "install .zip from sdcard" all I get is the 3D Android with the spinning junglegym-ish thing in his chest. Pressing the power button gets me out of this screen, but when I tried clicking on other options like "advanced" or anything else it only sends me there. What do I do???

I assume the zip file you are referring to is the ROM? In any event, CWM is terrible on the TF300T. You should go get the newest version of TWRP.
