Root TGPS Client violated self-enforced strictmode policy

After loading the newest version Cyanogen mod (Phiremod 7.1), my TGPS app no longer works. I start the Client up on the Nook and it never receives a GPS signal from my Droid. I go to running services and see the following error for the TGPS Client:

The process has violated its self-enforced strictmode policy.

What the heck?

"self-enforced"... is there a setting in your app to turn that off?

O/W there are other GPS apps you could test with like BlueGPS.

can't find anything in the settings to enable/disable this...I think the person who coded the app wrote this "StrictMode" into it. it just bothers me that on an older version of cyanogen mod the app ran fine.

You could flash your older version of CM7 again, but would miss out on the battery savings in this version.
