Thank you Verizon

I just want to throw a big THANKS to verizon for charging people $299 for a great phone and supplying us with TWO game DEMOS!!!! Anyone else find it absolutely ridiculous that we get demos with a phone, and not full games? Not only that, but before we play the demo we have to download fifteen minutes worth of data... good job verizon, you know how to please your customers.

Well the full games cost money and are not owned by verizon, furthermore it wouldn't make sense to me for ALL the data you need for those games to be pre-loaded on peoples phones that will never play said games.....

Verizon charges an extra $100 for new phones compared to other carriers . That itself is ridiculous.

Another reason to be thankful is the price is going to be slashed a hundo buckos shortly so it'll be paying $199.99 for two fantastic game demos!

Interesting that the HTC products are the only ones going on sale. I wonder if this means we'll get even MORE Nexus refugees. If I could get rid of a problematic phone AND a $100 credit, I'd jump on that.

As far as the complaints, as consumers you can go elsewhere. When Verizon said they were going to charge a $2.00 fee, enough public outcry and enough people threatening to switch carriers made Verizon change their tune. You do have the option to leave Verizon.

Could be the fact that HTC profits fell last quarter, first time ever.

I see you are on At&t. They are consistently rated the lowest in customer satisfaction. Which may be why they lure customers with better deals on phones. See attached image from consumer reports.

I don't mind paying a premium price for a phone or plan assuming it is a top tier product on a top tier network.

Yeah they suck. So does their data connection but I still think $299 is pretty steep!

Yeah JayC just do it!! I jumped ship from AT&T after 16 or so years. The other new customer at the store when I was buying my first few Verizon phones recently did 20 years with AT&T :)

I bet it also has something to do with their problems with the Thunderbolt and their Quality Control with regards to refurbs. I'm sure having to replace Thunderbolts so frequently didn't help their bottom line.
