I finally decided to upgrade to a new phone (LG Motion 4g) but I still have to say that the Optimus M was the greatest phone I have ever owned. A durable little phone with a great community behind it who always kept it at pace with the new phones that came out. I'd like to thank everyone (past and present) who worked tirelessly on Roms, Recoverys, themes, guides, and all that other good stuff since the OM came out. The experience would definitely have been different if I had not found these forums and OM root community.

Right on bro! I'm on the same boat, just stepped up to the Motion from my Optimus M when the Optimus stopped powering on a few weeks ago.

Durable is an understatement. There were times I actually tried to break the damn thing and couldn't, which is why I was so sad that it just suddenly stopped working. Talk about taking a beating and it keeps on ticking...

Very happy with my Motion, just hope it holds up as well as the Optimus.
 
Yeah Ive seen your posts over there Sam, might as well join the bandwagon lol. So far the thing I love most is the speed. My OM was starting to become super laggy so its amazing to be able to use a phone so responsive.
@Dave: Your not kidding man, I cant recall how many times I dropped the OM (case flying ten feet in one direction) and thinking "oh crap , it has to be broken this time" . Only to find that it was perfectly fine , just a few scratches here and there.
