Thanks Sprint!

This is why customers shouldn't spend their money at cobranded vendors; I strongly recommend doing business at either a corporate store or a preferred retailer, as the salespeople at these places deal exclusively with Sprint and don't get confused about the different policies and procedures that come with selling phones from multiple carriers.
As for the problems with the rebates, this is not uncommon. Keep in mind though that Sprint is just trying to catch fraudulent activity; they're not simply trying to just keep your $100.

or... avoid the kiosks, sprint store, etc. all together. moment on amazon right now, w/ new 2 year is .01. why even give these jokers the luxury of holding on to your money for you. if not 'new' pick someone in family that is I say.
 
Sprint is terrible with rebates.

Very true. It took 4 calls to get my rebate. Each call was a different problem. I finally did get my rebate so at least it was resolved. Next time I'm just going to get my phone from best buy. Instant rebate and better insurance program!
