mine says they dont have it in yet and now its not even on walmart.com so

I will second the proof???
 
When I bought my original Droid, I got it at Walmart. They had it out the day before, but when I tried to buy it, the system wouldn't let them.

I eventually talked the manager into letting me get it at midnight.

Good luck. Hopefully the employees at your local Walmart are more incompetent than mine were :D
 
just got a call back from the girl at wally world here and she said to be there early that they open at 9 at the phone counter and for me 2 expect a line. She said I was the 10th person she has called back since just finding out the truck coming in tonight has 2 whole devices on it but she expects several tomorrow at some point. for sale on Friday.

So it looks like this is going to be a friday phone for me any way I hack it if I am lucky
 
Just called my Walmart and they say they have them in. 317-839-2261, that is the number I called, asked for electronics. I am not going there to buy one, so I cannot actually confirm, but the woman said she did.

Take it for what it is worth, I have no reason to lie.
 
i just left my walmart hoping they had some in and i could sweet talk the girl into selling me one early....but she said it will be prob 2 weeks before they do. they just got the incredible display yesterday
 
Heck I'd believe it. I've gone in before the release of things in the past at either Wal-Mart or Target and walk out with it in my hands. It seems to be a purely YMMV type of thing though.
 
He's right! 2 wal marts locally here have them. The store that I have a buddy working at only got one but I'm seeing if he'll match VZW's full price now.

Edit: full buyout price is $530...I'm out the door now!!!!!
 
Anyone know if walmart will let you do an alternate upgrade. Also last time I bought a phone from them I had to give them my social, anyone know if they still do that as well?
 
I'm sorry, but that's an INSANE amount to drop on a phone that will ultimately cost you well over an extra $1k in service.

Kudos for rocking an X, but I'm sure your wallet is now a bit thinner...
