Help That damn BLINDING flash...

Does anyone know any settings to change the flash while taking a picture?

I don't understand it... Sometimes the flash makes pictures look beautiful, but most of the time, they come out washed out.

I don't understand... there has to be some sort of setting somewhere.

I haven't found it yet.

change your metering from the default "average" to center weighted or spot. it will average your subject much better on close ups.

I just changed it to center and spot, and it came washed out.

I changed it back, and it looked good again.

Wtf.
